EMERGENCY EVACUATION SYSTEMS
Tecasem has completed a wide range of alternatives for manufacturing and installation of both conventional and intelligent signage and signage.
It can be adapter to most dimensions, such as pictograms and even luminescence according to need.All products are certified and tested for use in highway tunnels, conventional and high-speed rail networks and railway and subway stations.
EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEMS
The Tecasem emergency lighting system adapts LED technology to the requirements of different levels of brightness along the evacuation route.
It is possible to install it with an interdistance between spotlights of up to 25m or using linear led strips installed in wall profiles or handrails.
It allows the control of the activation and the supervision of the status of the remotely installed lights.
Each focus has an autonomy> 90min, IK10 and IP68.

PRESSURIZATION OF EMERGENCY EXITS
Tecasem has developed a pressurization solution for independence halls capable of ensuring in real time a 50Pa pressure difference between the smoke zone and the protected area.
Tecasem can provide the calculation of fans and ducts necessary for its implementation.
Valid for both high-speed and conventional rail tunnels and meter network.
According to World Health Organization statistics, more than one billion people in the world live with some form of disability, of whom nearly 200 million experience considerable difficulties in functioning. This number is set to rise due to ageing populations and disabilities due to the increase in chronic health conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and mental health disorders.
Accessibility is one of the fundamental principles highlighted in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The Convention (A/RES/61/106) was adopted on 13 Dec 2006 by the UN General Assembly.
Tecasem has deep knowlegde and developed smart solutions to provide full accessibility for persons with reduced mobility, to be used in transportation facilities open to the public such as airports, railway stations or underground stations.
EMERGENCY DRILLS AND HOT SMOKE TESTS
Tecasem has developed a machine able to produce hot and clean smoke. It generates similar stratification and visibility conditions as in real fire event inside a tunnel without damaging any system or material.
The maximum smoke flow capacity is around 38m3/sg output of smoke with visibility level of 3m.
Drills can have different aims, one of which is to check that everything works according to plan. They are also used to train new teams, improve knowledge of a particular location, and fine-tune existing action protocols.
Tecasem has deep experience designing, planning and implementing drills in road and railway tunnels and stations.
INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT CONSULTING
Tecasem provides many services including the facilities design and renovation of existing spaces. The role of Tecasem is to provide the environment needed to facilitate the work of operation staff in the infraestructure.
Several new tunnels and stations have been constructed in the last decade and Tecasem was involved from the initial concept through the programming, design and construction phases interfacing with the authorities with detailed analysis of the need, study of possible solutions and regulatory compliance review.
The majority of our work involves the renovation of existing tunnels, commisioning and verification of the systems, review of operation manuals and emergency plans and training emergency personnel. All of which are designed to improve the safety conditions.
