ACCESSIBILITY

According to World Health Organization statistics, more than one billion people in the world live with some form of disability, of whom nearly 200 million experience considerable difficulties in functioning. This number is set to rise due to ageing populations and disabilities due to the increase in chronic health conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and mental health disorders.
Accessibility is one of the fundamental principles highlighted in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The Convention (A/RES/61/106) was adopted on 13 Dec 2006 by the UN General Assembly.
Tecasem has deep knowlegde and developed smart solutions to provide full accessibility for persons with reduced mobility, to be used in transportation facilities open to the public such as airports, railway stations or underground stations.
